Enchanted Princess Parties

About a month ago when I was trying to figure out what to do for my daughter’s birthday a friend had suggested a newer company, Enchanted Princess Parties NH. I’ll admit I was a little bit skeptical, it seemed like a decent party idea, but you never know how it will go when you bring in outside entertainment. Turns out it was the best decision I could have made.
They were here exactly on time when they said they would be, they didn’t even get lost –which, let’s just say living where we do everyone gets lost and we end up having to go get them. Their costumes were handmade by one of the princesses (Merida) and they were amazing! I hadn’t realized at first and I had said at one point to my sister, “I can’t believe they found such detailed dresses.” They were beautiful.
Beforehand I had planned everything out with Brianna, the owner, who is so understanding and easy to work with, with absolutely no issues –seriously, she was so calm and professional even through me having that mom meltdown of ‘my baby growing up’. We even had a slight mishap where one princess couldn’t make it and had notified us only a few days before the party. Again, there was nothing to worry about; she already had a backup girl ready to go before I even caught wind of the issue. We set up an itinerary for the day, but, since kids are kids, some of the little ones were late getting to the party, so at the drop of a hat we had to change all the plans for the day. Again, there were no issues, the whole party was flawless.
Princess Belle sang and danced with my daughter while Merida entertained all the other kids, which was amazing that she got to have that special one-on-one time with one of her favorite princesses. We’ve watched Beauty and the Beast probably a thousand times, and we re-watched it, and Brave the night before the party, and before she went to bed I said, “Since you were such a good girl today I’m going to call Belle and Merida and see if they can come to your party.” She clapped her hands and went, “Yayyyy!!!”
And let me tell you, when she turned around and they were standing in the doorway she lost her mind. They got bonus points right there from me because while she’s a very outgoing girl she tends to be sort of shy and has the ‘little kid cry’ when she gets overwhelmed, like when 30 people and her favorite princesses show up randomly for a party haha. They managed to alleviate it all and take her away from the craziness and introduce themselves and she immediately went, “Come on,” grabbed their hands, and went to play. They were hers for the rest of the day.
They sang, they danced, they brought awesome goody-bags for each of the kids, that were gender specific so the boys weren’t too overwhelmed that we dragged them all to a foofy, princess party. The activity we chose was face painting, which ranged all the way from simple flowers to Woody from Toy Story, accompanied by huge variety of press-on tattoos. The crafts were making lollipop wisps from Brave and pipe cleaner and tissue paper roses from Beauty and the Beast.
Admittedly not all of the kids wanted to sit still which wasn’t too surprising since they were between 1 and 7. The ladies managed to do each face and activity, per kid, at the drop of a hat when that kid felt like doing it, with no questions asked. Then we had presents and cake. For the presents they sat with my daughter, helped her open them, helped read the cards (since she’s only two and her father and I hate public speaking), and then they neatly put the presents back in the bags and ordered them away from the mayhem of the kids.
For cake we all sang and they cut the cake and served it to everyone –they even helped clean up the mess! On top of everything the princesses did, Brianna came and helped out and took pictures of the whole event, edited them, and sent me the pictures as I requested, I also had the option of having her develop them at whichever photo place was easiest for me.
I cannot tell you how much I loved having them. I love throwing parties and I grew up having to have every event be an over-the-top extravaganza; and while they’re always fun for the guests I end up sweaty, flustered, and exhausted by the end of them because I’m running around like a crazy person trying to do everything because I’m the hostess. Last year, I only managed to take four pictures of her whole party because I was so busy I practically missed her party -thankfully other people took plenty. But, having the princesses here meant Mom got to sit back and do next to nothing the entire day. They handled EVERYTHING, they were entertaining, talented, they were great with the kids, and all I had to do was enjoy the food and chat with guests while simply enjoying the festivities with my little princess.
In fact, the only bad part of the whole party was when it ended and Belle and Merida had to go back to their castles. They hugged her and explained it was time to go home, she was sad, but I told her she’d see them again, and she was okay. I wasn’t even kidding, it was so enjoyable having the fun and the help that I definitely want to do this again. If you’re looking for a professional company, that has entertainers your kids, and you, will love that aren’t ridiculously overpriced you are in the right place. I will recommend these ladies to everyone I know, and continue to hire them myself in the future. Thank you so much ladies, for everything!
